USA National U-17 Team to visit Jamaica February 16

 As part of the USA National U-17 team’s preparation for the 2007 CONCACAF U-17 Tournament, they will play against a Jamaican All-Star Youth team at the Harbour View mini stadium on Friday February 16, 2007 at 4:00pm.

This game will be followed at 6:00pm by the second of a two-game friendly series between the Jamaican National U-17 and the World U-17 champions, Mexico.

The CONCACAF U-17 Tournament (Group B) will be held in Jamaica, from April 21-29 and features Canada, Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago, USA and the hosts Jamaica. The CONCACAF U-17 Tournament is the final round of qualification to the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The U.S. is the only country that has qualified for all 11 previous FIFA U-17 World Cups (formerly FIFA U-17 World Championship).

The 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup will take place in South Korea from August 18-September 9.
