The National Senior Women’s team, the Reggae Girlz, will leave the island on Tuesday, November 14 at 2:45pm for the 2006 CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup™ in Miami, Florida and Carson, California (November 19 – 26). The team will stage a training camp November 14 – 18 in Miami.

The Women’s Gold Cup will crown the CONCACAF champion and qualify two nations to the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup in China. The third-place finisher from the event will face Japan (from the Asia Football Confederation) in a home-and-away playoff for the final berth to the FIFA tournament

The tournament features Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, Mexico, Panama and the host USA.
