The first President of the Jamaica Football Federation, Dr. Ronald Gordon passed away on Sunday, January 28.

 Dr. Gordon who was from Mandeville, Manchester served as President of the JFF during the period 1965-67 and as the first President was instrumental in the ensuring a smooth transition from the Jamaica Football Association to the Jamaica Football Federation. He is known to have paid keen attention to the financial state of the Federation in its early years.

Mr. Crenston Boxhill, President of the JFF wishes to express profoundest condolences to the wife and family of Dr. Gordon on behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the Federation.
